Five Female Interior Designers in Miami to Follow in 2025
Elizabeth Ghia of Elizabeth Ghia Interiors
First on our list of Miami interior designers is Elizabeth Ghia, who runs a boutique interior design firm in Coral Gables. Elizabeth Ghia has built a reputation for creating timeless, sophisticated interiors that feel personal, layered and connected to her clients’ lives.
From reimagining historic homes in Miami’s Italian Village to contemporary homes on Fisher Island, her work shows a masterful balance of modern sensibility with classical restraint. Ghia’s signature is mixing vintage and antique pieces with custom furniture and artisanal materials – resulting in spaces that feel curated and lived-in.
With projects across Florida, New York, DC and Virginia, Ghia’s approach to interior design far exceeds mere decoration; instead, it’s more about transforming spaces through listening, detail and project management. Her studio offers interior decoration, renovations and new construction, often in landmark and historic homes.
Featured by Architectural Digest as one of the top Miami interior designers to know, Elizabeth’s firm is known for white-glove service and bespoke design process. Read more on AD PRO.
Kitchen Design to Full-Service Interiors
Before starting her firm, Ghia worked in luxury kitchen design where she developed a strong technical understanding of plumbing, electrical and construction coordination. This early work earned her a reputation as one of the most detail-oriented interior designers in Miami – someone who solves problems behind the scenes before clients even notice them. “It’s not a problem, just a solution waiting to be found,” a tradesman told her in her Shoutout Miami interview – a mantra that still guides her practice today.
What began as kitchen projects soon turned into full-home makeovers. Realizing she could bridge the gap between aesthetic excellence and technical fluency, Elizabeth founded Elizabeth Ghia Interiors. She built her design studio around collaboration, transparency and exceptional client service. Today the firm typically takes on 4-6 projects at a time to ensure personal attention to every residential project.
A Personal and Historic Approach
Ghia has an MA in History of Art from the University of St Andrews, Scotland and received her professional design training in London with a firm specializing in bespoke cabinetry. After time in New York, she moved to Miami where she now works with clients across the East Coast and is active in historic preservation. She’s served on the Coral Gables Historic Preservation Board and brings a thoughtful, historically sensitive eye to work on landmark properties.
In every project, her design team takes a collaborative, solutions-focused approach working closely with contractors, architects and clients to bring each vision to life with clarity and style. Whether it’s a custom built dining room console or layered wall treatments in a Mediterranean revival home, her interiors are rooted in craftsmanship and heart.

Eilyn Jimenez of Sire Design
At the helm of Sire Design, Eilyn Jimenez is a Miami design power player. Her studio’s name, “Sire,” says it all; it means nobility, integrity and leadership – values she brings to every space her team touches.Whether she’s reimagining commercial boutiques like Caudalie Brickell or transforming ocean-view homes in South of Fifth, Jimenez combines function with beauty, creating work that’s as emotional as it is visual. Read more about her recent work in this interview with Aspire’s Andrew Joseph.
Rooted in modernist principles but open to evolution, Eilyn’s design philosophy is about seamlessness – both in flow between indoor and outdoor spaces and how her interiors reflect her clients’ needs. “I hope to see more seamless, undefined interior and exterior spaces,” she told Aspire’s Andrew Joseph, referencing her own home as the blueprint for this design-forward ideal.
Eilyn’s Journey to Global Recognition
Jimenez’s career path is unconventional. She once wanted to be a judge, but a fascination with architecture – sparked at 16 while studying business in Costa Rica – led her to switch gears and dive into interior design. Her hybrid background in business and architecture gives her a unique edge: every design is strategic yet emotionally intelligent.
Early in her career she took a leap of faith and bid on a 200-unit residential development despite never having led a project of that size. She won. “Looking back I am in awe of myself and my team for taking the risk,” Jimenez told CanvasRebel. The project opened doors to big opportunities and helped her grow Sire Design into what she calls a “fem-pire” – a female-led team that delivers bold, client-centric spaces globally.
Designing from the Heart – and for the Community
What sets Eilyn apart isn’t just her creative eye but her sense of purpose. Her work with KidSanctuary Campus, a non-profit for abused and neglected children, is a reflection of her use of design as a tool for empowerment and healing. “Design can significantly impact how a space is used and how people feel in it,” she told Aspire. It’s this emotional intelligence combined with precision that is her brand.
Even in daily studio life Eilyn leads with intention. A typical day starts with coffee and connection at home and runs through project site visits, client presentations and strategy sessions. She’s proud of the culture her team has built: one where design is collaborative and excellence is expected.
