Houston, TX — October 2025 — The DesignDash team is proud to announce the release of its Fall 2025 issue of The DesignDash Magazine, an edition that celebrates comfort, connection, and creative vision as the year draws to a close. Published just after High Point Market, this issue explores the season’s most compelling design stories, from timeless renovations to future-facing conversations on technology, business strategy, and the art of gathering.

From Mallorca to North Carolina, Fall 2025 is a season of warmth and forward thinking. This issue reflects the dual energy of cozy, grounded interiors and bold, visionary ideas shaping the future of design.

What’s Inside

The Fall 2025 issue features an exclusive project profile on a renovated Mallorcan townhouse by Camilla van den Tempel, blending European charm with modern restraint. Readers will also find a deep dive into the award-winning kitchen at the heart of Christine Cook’s EP Interior whole-home renovation, a Mediterranean-modern transformation that balances historic character with contemporary elegance.

DesignDash continues to elevate meaningful conversations in design with thoughtful features including:

  • Seen at October 2025 High Point Market — a trend digest highlighting the textures, tones, and timeless shapes capturing designers’ imaginations this season.
  • Budgeting for Next Year’s Team in Q4 2025 — a practical guide for firm owners looking to plan intentionally.

Letter from Co-Founder Melissa Grove

“Fall is a season for comfort — in our spaces, our plans, and our communities,” says Melissa Grove, Co-Founder of DesignDash. “This issue celebrates thoughtful design and the people who make it happen, while also looking ahead to the goals and visions that will shape the year to come.”

Project Spotlight: Palazzo Bartomeu by Camilla van den Tempel

DesignDash also features an in-depth interview with Camilla van den Tempel on her renovation of Palazzo Bartomeu in Sóller, Mallorca, a luminous, layered townhouse where history and modernity coexist.

Guided by Mallorca’s natural light, Camilla redesigned skylights and terrace doors to create interiors that shift gracefully throughout the day. Her restrained architectural language, tactile material palette, and signature contrasts of dark wood against airy plaster bring a timeless Mediterranean character to life. Thoughtful restoration of original details like hydraulic tile floors and ceiling ornamentation is balanced with contemporary interventions, creating a seamless dialogue between old and new.

“The house reflects the simplicity I’m always searching for: nothing unnecessary, nothing to distract you,” Camilla shares in the interview. “It’s about sensitivity to context, clarity of form, and a dialogue between past and present.”
