HIGH POINT, N.C., April 2026 — DesignDash co-founders Laura Umansky and Melissa Grove will lead two educational workshops at High Point Market Spring 2026 on Sunday, April 26, at Vanguard Furniture Co., located at 301 N. Hamilton St. Both sessions are listed as educational events at Market and offer 1 hour of CEU credit. The workshops are also featured in The Designer Edit, a Spring 2026 High Point Market program presented in partnership with Vanguard Furniture and DesignDash.

DesignDash Co-Founders Laura Umansky and Melissa Grove to Lead Two Business Workshops at High Point Market Spring 2026

The first workshop, “Pricing Simplified: How to Bill with Confidence and Clarity,” will take place from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. and will be led by Laura Umansky, founder of Laura U Design Collective and co-founder of DesignDash. The session is designed as an action-focused workshop on how luxury design firms structure pricing, with practical guidance on hourly, fixed-fee, and hybrid billing models, cost estimating, and presenting fees with greater clarity and confidence. Attendees will leave with a smarter billing strategy intended to protect time, increase revenue, and strengthen positioning in the luxury market.

The second workshop, “Marketing Foundations: From Portfolio to Profit,” will run from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. and will be led by Melissa Grove, co-founder of DesignDash. The session will focus on the essential building blocks of a strong and profitable firm, including clarifying brand voice and ideal client, strengthening a website, elevating photography, showing up with intention online, and cultivating the relationships that support referrals and long-term growth. The workshop emphasizes practical and strategic next steps designers can begin using right away.
